What it does

Terminus is a memento mori life-visualization app. Enter your birth date and expected lifespan, and the app renders your entire life as a grid of cells: one per week, month, or year. Some are filled. One is highlighted. The rest are empty. That's what's left.

The goal isn't to be morbid. It's to make the remaining time feel real so you use it deliberately.

Life Grid

The centerpiece: your entire lifespan as a color-coded grid. Filled cells are time you've lived. The highlighted cell is now. Empty cells are what remains.

A live header counts down in real time: exact age, years and days remaining, percentage of life lived, and a seconds timer ticking every moment you look at it. Toggle between full-life view and a condensed current-year grid. Tap any cell to see what was happening in that period.

Milestones

A chronological timeline of the moments that mattered. Each milestone holds a title, date, description, optional photo, and category. They appear as markers overlaid directly on the Life Grid so you can see exactly where in your life each event falls.

Goals

Life goals with urgency awareness built in. Each goal has sub-milestones, weekly progress logs, and a status. The urgency score recalculates based on your remaining life percentage. A goal due in two years means something different at 25 than at 65. Twenty-two predefined goal templates cover fitness, travel, career, relationships, and more to help you start quickly.

Journal

A calendar-based journal where each day can hold one or more entries. Entries support rich text, mood tracking, free-form tags, multiple photos, and in-app audio recordings. The calendar view colors days by mood. Streaks reward daily consistency. Full-text search, mood filtering, and date-range filtering let you find anything.

Widgets

Four widget types bring your life data to the home and lock screen:

Life Percentage (small): configurable display: percentage, progress ring, timeline, or dual bar
Year Grid (medium): the current year as a 4×13 week grid
Life Grid Large (large): all months as an optimized grid
Lock Screen (accessory): compact progress bar and percentage

Themes & Privacy

Five built-in themes (System, Sunset, Sakura, Midnight, Forest), each with full light/dark adaptation. Available in English and Traditional Chinese.

Zero network calls. No accounts. No analytics. Every piece of data (entries, photos, audio, settings) stays on your device.
